Paracas Huacachina and Nazca Lines Tour
Day 1 – Lima to Paracas Bay.
Your adventure begins at 12:00 pm with pickup from your hotel in Lima and transfer to the bus station. At 13:30 h, you board a comfortable Cruz del Sur tourist bus heading south along the scenic Pan-American Highway. After approximately three hours, you’ll arrive in Paracas Bay, a charming coastal town known for its marine life and desert landscapes.
Upon arrival, a representative from Mystery Peru will meet you at the station and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free to relax by the ocean or stroll around the small village. Overnight in Paracas – Hotel Posada del Emancipador *** or similar.

Day 2 – Ballestas Islands, Paracas Reserve, Huacachina Oasis & Trip to Nazca.
After breakfast, at 07:45 h, your local guide will transfer you to the Paracas harbor to board a speedboat for the Ballestas Islands tour. En route, you’ll see the enigmatic Candelabro geoglyph, etched on the slope of a desert hill and visible only from the sea. The islands themselves are home to thousands of seabirds, sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and occasionally dolphins.
Back on land, continue with a private guided visit to the Paracas National Reserve, a dramatic desert-meets-ocean landscape. Highlights include spectacular cliffs, golden beaches such as the Red Beach, and panoramic viewpoints. Around midday, stop in the fishing village of Lagunillas for a seafood lunch overlooking the bay.
In the afternoon, the journey continues south toward Ica. Here, you’ll stop at a traditional pisco vineyard to learn about Peru’s grape spirit and enjoy a tasting. Afterwards, visit the legendary Huacachina Oasis, a natural lagoon surrounded by towering sand dunes. You’ll have time to climb the dunes, take photos, or try sandboarding.
By late afternoon, travel onward to Nazca (approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for overnight rest.

Day 3 – Nazca Lines Flight & Chauchilla Cemetery.
After breakfast, at 08:00 h, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to the Nazca airdrome for a once-in-a-lifetime scenic flight over the Nazca Lines. From the air, you’ll marvel at massive figures such as the Hummingbird, Monkey, Condor, and Astronaut, each etched into the desert floor more than a thousand years ago.
After the flight, continue with a guided excursion to the Chauchilla Cemetery, an ancient pre-Inca burial ground. Here, naturally preserved mummies, textiles, and ceramics provide a haunting glimpse into Nazca funerary practices. On the way back, visit a local ceramic workshop, where artisans demonstrate the traditional techniques used by ancient Nazca potters.
In the afternoon, at 14:30 h, board a Cruz del Sur tourist bus for your return to Lima. The journey takes around seven hours, with arrival expected at 22:00 h. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you at the station and transfer you back to your hotel, concluding your tour.
