Full Trip Description
From Lima to Chiclayo – The Journey Begins.
We kick off your adventure by picking you up right from your hotel in Lima. In the afternoon, you’ll be comfortably transferred to the Lima Airport. There, our local representative will assist you with everything you need before you board a roughly one-and-a-half-hour flight to Chiclayo. Upon arrival in Chiclayo, our representative will be ready to greet you and take you to your designated hotel. After that, you’ll have the rest of the evening free to relax and settle in. Overnight at the Hotel Wyndham Costa del Sol Chiclayo **** or similar.
- Pick up from your hotel in Lima and transfer to the airport.
- Flight tickets from Lima to the city of Chiclayo.
- Pick up from the Chiclayo airport and transfer to the hotel.

Discovering Huaca Rajada and the Royal Tombs.
9:00 AM, we’ll pick you up for a fascinating day of exploration. We’ll head to the archaeological site of Huaca Rajada, where the untouched tomb of the Lord of Sipán was unearthed. You’ll delve into the rich history and see where gold, ceramics, and treasures were discovered. Afterward, we’ll visit the Royal Tombs Museum, where all these artifacts are beautifully displayed. An English-speaking guide will be with you, making sure you get the full story behind each exhibit. After the museum, we’ll have a nice lunch at a local restaurant and then give you a leisurely afternoon to unwind before another restful night in Chiclayo. Overnight at the Hotel Wyndham Costa del Sol Chiclayo ****.

From Chiclayo to Trujillo via the El Brujo Complex.
We will depart Chiclayo at 9:00 AM and make our way to Trujillo by private car. Along the journey, we’ll stop to visit the El Brujo Archaeological Complex, where you’ll see remarkable friezes of the Moche culture and learn about the powerful female ruler known as the Lady of Cao. We’ll also explore the Cao Museum, where her treasures are displayed. After soaking in this incredible history, we’ll continue on to Trujillo, where you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy a free evening to explore the city’s charm. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel Casa Andina Standard Trujillo *** or similar.

Exploring Moche and Chimú Cultures and Return to Lima.
On the final day, we begin early in the morning visit to the Moon Temple of the Moche civilization. This impressive site offers insight into ancient rituals and architecture. Nearby, you’ll also get a panoramic view of the Sun Temple. Afterward, we’ll have lunch and then shift to the Chimú culture with a visit to the Chan Chan ruins. Your guide will walk you through this vast adobe city, revealing the stories of the Chimú people. Finally, we’ll wrap up our cultural journey at the Huanchaco Beach, where you can relax and see the traditional reed boats. After some beach time, we’ll transfer you to the Trujillo Airport for your flight back to Lima, where our representative will ensure you return comfortably to your hotel.
